Android_808fmg: with regard to h-d, we still have a few options available with it I haven't explored.  As stated elsewhere, we can't replace mx with st from gnome-shell as it relies on too much gnome.  We could however still use a stripped down version of tidy, updated to use clutter1.  libchampain/champlain/chamsomething did the same (mx>tidy>own tidy derived)15:01
