pawz_i'm running meego 1.2 cedartrail and i want to install other software. rather than just add the extras repo which seems to not have that much i heard about easy debian04:51
pawz_but the only instructions that i can find for it are for nokia phones and they say their version of meego is .deb based04:51
pawz_and it mentions all this crap about sim cards and customer kernels etc04:52
pawz_is there any info on installing easy debian for netbook users ?04:52

pawz_i'm not thrilled about running meego in the first place just for accelerated video support, but it runs well at least. i'd just like a more full linux system04:54

pawz_hundreds of people on irc not talking.. virtually no documentation online about meego on anything other than nokia phones. i know the project is "dead" but is there really no support ? Meego is the only linux distro I can run on my netbook05:54
pawz_there's three different methods for adding the extras repo to meego on the official website. none of them apply to the desktop version. i don't get it... on the site the desktop version is prominently displayed for downoad, yet none of the docs ever apply to it05:56
