sixwheeledbeastIt's interesting how stable a genuine Nokia wallcharger is compared to others. Acquired a USB multitester and have been checking a few chargers.00:13

sixwheeledbeastvoltage over current09:00
sixwheeledbeastI.E 4.99Vdc@550mA - 5.02Vdc@90mA. Whereas no brand has high non/low load voltage 5.2V and drops exponentially over load 4.8V.09:08

sixwheeledbeastObviously with lithium the charger "controller" is part of the device, lithium doesn't take trickle charging. You are just supplying a fixed voltage/current to the device.09:15

DocScrutinizer05I got a few wallwarts that are really funny, with 4.7V@0mA, 5.2V@500mA [SIC!]12:36

DocScrutinizer05by a meter that only takes fractions of one mA to probe the voltage14:30

brolin_empeyI tried to answer my own question about using a Core 2 Duo ULV CPU on a Socket T/LGA775 motherboard.  I found my own messages from this channel while searching the Internet.  Apparently the Core 2 Duo ULV SU9xxx CPU, which has a TDP of only 10 W and is what was in the Dell Vostro V13 notebook computer I had, is indeed soldered on the motherboard instead of socketed.  Apparently some medium-voltage Core 2 CPUs use Socket P but I do not yet know if a Socket P23:48
brolin_empeyCPU can be used on a Socket T motherboard.23:48
