Jonniasterismo: afaik 10.1 doesnt have adhoc support, support was added to 10.217:28
Jonnithere is also hack to enable it on 10.1-M2 by following these instructions http://www.thinktube.com/component/content/article/19-technicalinformation/46-android-wifi-ibss  but there is less work if you just flash 10.217:30
